There’s been a lot of talk recently over the widespread disrespect observed by teachers across the nation. Students just don’t respect their elders the way they once did. And while certainly there has been a shift in parenting style, and adults today raise their children quite differently than they themselves were raised – is this really a valid excuse for the rampant disrespect?

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding those at sports events refusing to stand for the national anthem. Activist cheerleaders and athletes have refused to stand during the anthem as a show of protest.

But one school district in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania, is tired of it. It instituted a new policy to be announced at all future sporting events: attendees will salute the flag or be ejected from the premises.
