Russian Farmer Rescues Four Abandoned Kittens But Upon Closer Inspection Realizes They're Not Kittens At All
When a Russian farmer stumbled across a litter of gray kittens in his barn, he really didn't think much of it. Until, of course, he realized they'd been abandoned by their mother and would starve and die without help. Without hesitation, he brought the kittens into his home, but he soon realized, these were no ordinary kittens.

Not your average house cat
Unsure of how to take care of the four kittens, he called the Daursky Nature Reserve to find out what to do. The reserve instructed him to bring the kittens in, and upon closer inspection, the realized that these were not regular kittens!

They were, in fact, an entirely different species of wild cat, called Palla's cats, or Manuls, a very rare breed of wild cat native to Central Asia.
