Sia hails from Adelaide in southern Australia. She had stints with the Australia based band "Crisp" and the English band "Zero 7" before fully going solo. Amid all this, she had released five separate albums that didn't get her the exposure she sought.

Everything changed in 2014 with the release of her sixth studio album, "1000 Forms of Fear." She followed that up with the widely successful album, "This Is Acting," and now Sia is a household name

Sia is famous for something else besides her amazing music. She famously hides her face from the public through the use of elaborate wigs that are reminiscent of Lady Gaga. Nobody knew why she did it. But she has recently revealed the reason behind censoring her face.
